When #stan daydreams of Aruba pure happiness fills our thoughts.
I guess that is why it is pegged as One Happy Island. What is there not to be happy about? The weather is always in the upper 80’s, the water: palm-tree lined and pristine, and the locals are as friendly as they come. Home to some of the best beaches and one look at a Aruban sunset, you’re ready to pack your bags and jet off!
Our journey to Aruba started as the first out-of-country trip that we took together. At that point we had no idea a few years later we would consider ourselves world travelers. Aruba is where we married on our own private island. Aruba is where we went back on our first anniversary right after our United States road trip. Aruba is where many of #Stan’s best memories were shared and technically the birth place of #Stan.
Outside of the resort life, there is plenty to explore in the ten-mile-long island, and we can’t stress enough how much fun it is to explore on your own! If you’re a bit more of an adrenaline junkie, opt for an ATV or Rhino (a three-seater dunebuggy) to get around. If you’re more of a laid-back kind of person, rent a four-wheel drive vehicle.
Whatever is your choice of vehicle, make sure you check out all of off-the-beaten-path excitement. We can promise you that you won’t be disappointed.
From the bat caves, to the natural pools, bridges, and a newly-discovered natural pool, we have many favorite things to explore in Aruba! The lighthouse, golf courses, piles of rocks made by tourists, and the historic church found on the other side of the island, are just a few other attractions to check out. The food scene is on-point as well! A few of our favorites are The Flying Fishbone, Cuba’s Cookin’, The Old Fisherman and famous Dutch pancakes at The Pancake house! Wherever you go and whatever you do you can’t be disappointed in Paradise.
Enjoy our One.Happy.Island!
